Finally, as promised, here are the Woolfest 2009 photos.
As usual, there were loads of sheep and alpacas and the "sheep" for the auction were absolutely gorgeous and some went for mega money.
I had an absolutely wonderful day at Woolfest and bought some gorgeous "silk bricks" to spin and some silk/bamboo roving also to spin.
There was such an array of roving it was difficult to choose which to buy and bring home with me.
I used the "Ashford Spinning Chair" (which hubby bought me as part of my Birthday present) today and am really happy with it. Having a back on it really helps as having something to support my back whilst spinning takes the strain off of my back and I also found I spun a bit more evenly.
Over the next week I will post pictures of Windermere, Keswick and Whitehaven and also some pics of my latest skeins of handspun/hand-dyed fleece.
