As promised here is my review on the Knitting Daily DVD Series 100.
I purchased this dvd set from America as it is not available here in the UK. It is $39.99 which is not bad in itself for 4 DVD's but.....The shipping is $30 and then when it gets here in the UK you will probably have to pay customs charges (I did), so it gets quite expensive. In saying this I thoroughly enjoyed it and am really glad I purchased it.
The DVD's are NTSC so will only work on a stand along DVD player which will accept Region 1 DVD's. The good news is that if you are reading this then you obviously have a computer or laptop with a dvd player so you can watch it on that (I did).
The DVD's are in 13 programmes and each programme is in 5 sections:
Getting Started
Designer Spotlight
How To
You Asked It
Knit-Along
They are hosted by Eunny Jang, Kim Werker, Liz Gipson and Shay Pendray. Each programme has various guests which is really interesting to see what they actually look and sound like.
The 13 programmes are entitled:
101 - Luxe and Luscious
102 - The Sweater
103 - Amazing Lace
104 - Quick and Chunky
105 - Cozy up at Home
106 - Exploring Cables
107 - Almost Edible
108 - Special Occasions
109 - On the Surface
110 - All about Texture
111 - Chase the Chill
112 - Fabulous Felting
113 - Oh-So-Fine
All in all it is really interesting to watch and you learn lots of new techniques, tips and information. You also get links to free project patterns from the Knitting Daily TV website at http://www.knittingdailytv.com.
I would definitely recommend you ordering this dvd set and I give it * (5 stars).
